According to official data, the number of healthcare services provided in government hospitals in Telangana under the Aarogyasri scheme has increased by 20% in just three years.

In government hospitals, aarogyasri services grew from 34% to 53%. As part of the Arogya Manthan 2022 initiative, Telangana was also given the Ayushman Utkrishtata Puraskar 2022 for being the best state at implementing the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

Dr T Harish Rao, the health minister, explained that it was due to the increasing accessibility of healthcare services at community health centres and primary health centres, which brought healthcare services to the grassroots levels.
